3-20 | Myrtle Beach Dog Parks

Today is the first day of spring and everyone has a little more pep in their steps – even our pets. If you haven’t already checked out Myrtle Beach’s two off-leash dog parks, spring is the perfect time for a change of scenery for both you and your friend.

BarcParc South, the original leash-free space for pooches, is off Mallard Drive near Grand Park and The Market Common. The park covers 14 acres and includes a large lake where dogs love to swim and play. It also offers separate areas for large and small dogs.

BarcParc North is adjacent to the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA on 62nd Avenue North Extension. It is the smaller park, at 3.3 acres, and opened in the fall of 2009.

If you’d prefer not to drive, always remember we have our own resident dog park here at Seaside Grove and plenty of sidewalks for you and your dog to enjoy.
