If you’re in search of something fun and festive to do this holiday season, look no further. Seaside Grove has gathered a list of some of the best holiday events and activities going on in Myrtle Beach. There are memories to be made and fun to be had for all ages!

Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens is one of the most anticipated holiday events in the Southeast, that you surely won’t want to miss!  This event runs December 5-8, 12-15 and 19-21 from 3:00 pm-10:00 pm (tickets must be purchased prior to your arrival). Special rates are available for groups of 15 or more arriving together. At this event, you’ll witness Brookgreen Gardens come to life from the soft glow of 2,700 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling lights.  If you’re not able to make it to this event, Brookgreen Gardens also hosts Light Up The New Year on December 27th, 28th, and 31st.

The Great Christmas Light Show in North Myrtle Beach is a drive-through light show that is displayed along a 1.5-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. You’ll see over 500 magical light displays, some reaching heights of 55 feet tall. This event is open nightly from November 25th through December 30th (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day) from 5:30 pm-9:30 pm. After journeying through the light show, be sure to stop by Santa’s village for hot chocolate, smores, a Christmas maze, to meet Santa, and much more! Admission is $15 per vehicle for 1-15 guests, $30 per vehicle for 16-30 guests, and $60 per vehicle for 31+ guests.

Ripley’s Festival of Trees at Ripley’s Aquarium is open from November 13th through December 31st. Come see for yourself how the entire Aquarium has transformed into a Winter Wonderland with twinkling lights, holiday bows, and more than 55 decorated Christmas trees. There is no additional charge for this event, you just have to pay admission prices into the Aquarium.
